The " Vietnam Era " is listed as August 5, 1964 thru May 7, 1975 when all hostility officially ceased between the United States and the Hostile Forces of Vietnam. However, American Soldiers began to die in South East Asia as early as 1957. From 1957 thru 1997, ...... 58,229 American Soldiers died and continue to die from injuries received during those " Era Years." The last addition to the casualty list was in on May 6, 1997 with the addition of 7 more Heroes. Other casualties are listed as they are removed from the " Pow / Missing in Action " lists and added to those, "Killed in Action." American Soldiers from all 50 States, The District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, Other National Locations, and Unknown Areas account for the 58,229 American Soldiers who died during the Vietnam War. New Jersey was called home by 1,484 of the American Soldiers who died there. Warren County, New Jersey lost 24 of Her Sons to the ravages of the Vietnam War. In that context is the reason for this site. It was created to Honor and to Remember our 24 Sons.
It was also created to furnish material, to educate, and to acquaint our young to the suffering and horror of war, to the men and the ideals of those men and women who fought the war, and to the people and Country of Vietnam .......

Their lost lives shall not be forgotten..... Their deeds of heroism shall be remembered......
and their valor fully appreciated forever..... Remember Them Always... RT

There are links to Online Websites of the Military Units that our Heros served with during the Vietnam War located on their individual Memorial pages. Click the logos of the units on their websites. In most cases, these websites contain the histories of that military unit, photos of the time, and the remembrances and mind set of those men and women who served. The sites are a brotherhood trying to survive and at the same time preserving the memory of those places and people, of a time gone by.

Our Heros Service Units
"If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and save one backward glance when you are leaving for the places they can no longer go.

Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not have always.  Take what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own.

And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call  war insane, take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind."

Slip off that pack. Set it down by the crooked trail. Drop your steel pot alongside. Shed those magazine-ladened bandoliers away from your sweat-soaked shirt. Lay that silent weapon down and step out of the heat. Feel the soothing cool breeze right down to your soul ... and rest forever in the shade of our love, brother.
